Transfer funds now available.

I just pushed the new feature that lets you transfer funds from one account to another. The feature went through automated, regression and internal testing, but I have this sinking feeling like I might have missed something on this one, maybe something is being displayed in a report that shouldn't be. Can you guys please test this out for me and let me know if anything is broken?

Thanks bunches!

Business Owners: save hours per week with LessAccounting. It's like Quickbooks, just not total shit.

So, are you guys going to have things like Profit and Loss statements available? I know you don’t want to be Quickbooks or anything, but for a small business to use this app, it should be at least giving reports that we could use for tax stuff, etc.

What the hell? “you have a sinking feeling”? That doesn’t exactly inspire confidence that I want to run my business on this thing…

Steve,

That is really funny! :)

Less Accounting is in beta right now. Beta means that the application is not done. Beta users are people that are testing the system and looking for bugs. The truth is I did miss something: If you create a transfer between two bank accounts and then delete one of the accounts, there is an error on the transfer page. This was reported by a beta tester.

The reality is that there are very few pieces of software that are bug free. Most of the ones that are bug free run on devices that are inside the human body. Why? Because there are very stringent, legal requirements.

I am sorry that our style of openness is disturbing to you. Would you feel more comfortable using a product from a company that says everything is fine while constantly releasing security patches?
